Acres of plain land at that altitude, a lake so clear the surface could be
mistaken for glass – a visit to Ladakh can be life-changing. A bike ride from
Manali to Ladakh is regarded as almost a rite-of-passage for adventurers.
GUJARATH
Barely glimpsed

an easy side-step off the well-beaten tourist trail. While the capital,

Punjab
Chandigarh is one of those rare cities in India
which serves as the capital of two states i.e. Punjab and Haryana. Since it is
not under the jurisdiction of either state it is classified as union territory.
Sukhna Lake, Punjab Kala Kendra, The Rock Garden, International dolls museum,
Child Art Gallery, Museum of the evolution of life and Government Museum and
Art gallery are the common places in the city that attracts travellers from all
over India. Foreign tourists can also check them out.
Amritsar is well known for its Golden Temple, the most sacred religious shrine for Sikhs. Apart from
this world famous temple you may want to visit the two historic
spots Jallianwala Bagh and Ram Bagh (the summer palace of King or
Maharaja Ranjit Singh).
Uttaranchal
Dehradun is the capital city of Uttaranchal and is the home of the
Indian military Academy. Durbar Shri Guru Ram Rai, Robber’s cave, Malsi deer
Park, Lakshmansidh, Forest Research Institute and The Sericulture Centre are
the places to visit in Dehradun.
